about the blog ‘Flâneur’

The word ‘Flâneur’ came from my last project in London, collaborating with a Taiwanese photographer Jasmine Cheng. It means people experiencing the city by their footsteps. People like me walk a lot in order to save some costly transportation fees. Meanwhile footsteps turn to be a way of observing and perceiving a city. As an urban explorer and a temporary dweller, I create my urban vocabularies to refer an immense social experience through drifting and strolling from one region to another.
The blog Flâneur is not a medium. Instead, it shows my attitude, not only of contemporary art, but also it looks like my immediate perception of some specific issues before losing in my thought process.
